How Soon Can I Expect to See Results After a Pestmaster Treatment?
Most homes will start to see a decrease in pest activity within a few days, but because every treatment is different, depending on the severity of the problem and type of pest, it could take as long as a week or so to see a significant reduction. If you continue to see activity, just give us a call and we will gladly come out and address the problem.
-
Do I Need Pest Control in the Winter?
Pest protection when you think you need it least is when you need it most! Winter pests can be even more of a nuisance than summer pests because they are looking for warm homes to stay comfortable and safe from the cold outdoors. Pests will aggressively do whatever it takes to make your home theirs during the frigid months. Pests such as mice and cockroaches can be increasingly dangerous carrying disease and filth through your home. Treating your home in the Fall and winter months gives you an extra layer of protection from these pets.
-
Is Preventative Pest Control Necessary?
Often, by the time you make the decision to hire an expert, there is a serious problem already in progress- that’s why prevention is always the best course of action. Our proactive approach will save you the headache of having to deal with pest problems when you least have time for them.
-
Do I Have to Leave My Home When Pestmaster Comes to Provide Service?
Most treatment plans require little to no disruption for you or your home environment. When our professional technician proposes a treatment plan, they will go over any special requests if it is necessary for you to be out of your home for any duration. Usually, we will ask that you not be in the immediate area of treatment, but after the initial treatment, most servicing is done outside to prevent future pests and you will hardly know we are there.
-
Is Pestmaster Pest Control Safe for My Children and Pets?
Pestmaster has been around since 1979 and is one of the first to use IPM (Integrated pest management) as a staple in pest control. All of our materials are state-approved and our technicians are trained and licensed to perform treatment according to industry safety regulations and guidelines. We take every precaution to keep your children and pets safe by using the least amount of pest control product necessary and utilizing IPM as a standard practice. Safety is our top priority when keeping your family and home pest free.

How Long Should I Expect Pest Control to Last?
Treatments and pests vary, but an effective treatment for common pests should last 2-3 months.
-
How Often Should I Have Pestmaster Come Out and Service My Home?
We recommend that a structured regular maintenance plan is always the best solution for controlling pest activity by preventing old infestations from reoccurring and identifying any new issues before they become a problem. To keep your home pest-free, we recommend treatment every two to three months depending on seasonality, temperature, and location of your home or business.
-
Does Pestmaster Require Me to Sign a Contract?
Pestmaster never requires a contract and we treat every customer like family. Our fair and competitive pricing assures that you are getting the best service at a great deal.
However, if you are looking for a guaranteed pest-free environment, it will be necessary to treat your home year-round to break up different activity cycles when pests tend to lay eggs and create infestation problems. By controlling environments before they turn into colonies, we can better service your home and prevent problems before they start during the different seasons.
