Bee Control

Keep Your Property Bee-Free All Summer Long

One of the most common pests people find around their properties are bees. The United States has close to 4,000 different species of bees, so it’s very likely that you’ll find a few of them buzzing around your yard, deck, and sometimes even inside your home. Bees mostly keep to themselves and go about their work and aren’t looking to bother people or pets, yet if left unchecked they can start to take over areas of your property. Bees are also not your ordinary harmless insect – when bothered, they can be quite aggressive, and their stings can cause pain and swelling, and in some cases, allergic reactions.

Bee nests contain dozens and even sometimes hundreds of bees, and if bothered, the unwitting victim can be in great danger. That’s why it’s very important to not only get a handle on your bee problem but to leave this dangerous task to trained professionals. At Pestmaster, we offer bee control and prevention services and can help you reclaim your property from these dangerous and painful pests.

Where Are Bees Coming From?

If you have noticed a high presence of bees around your property, chances are there is a nest somewhere nearby. However, it’s not always easy to find out exactly where it is located. Different bees choose different places for their nests. Our bee control team will first identify the type of bee and then locate their nest.

Three common bees homeowners encounter include the following:

  • Honeybees – You’ll find honeybee nests inside rock crevices and tree trunks. Their hives are round and have a honeycomb structure.
  • Carpenter Bees – These bees bore holes in exterior wood surfaces, where they build their nests.
  • Bumble Bees – Bumble bees prefer to nest either underground or under a flat object like a stone or wood board. You may also find them in holes created by other pests on your property.

These are just a few of the bees you may encounter. If you have another bee you need help dealing with, rest assured that the Pestmaster team is ready to help.

Thorough & Reliable Services

Our Control & Prevention Process

Getting your bee problem under control and preventing future infestations requires a thorough process. Our bee control experts will begin by identifying the bee species on your property. Once we understand the type of bees you are dealing with, we’ll then be able to locate and remove the hives. Our work, however, doesn’t stop there. Without preventative treatment, bees will likely return to your property. The Pestmaster team will also remove old hives, search your property and clear potential future nesting spots, and repair any damages they may have caused.

Safe, Effective & Environmentally Friendly Solutions

Bees may be a nuisance – and a painful foe – but they are an important part of our ecosystem and need to be treated with care. That’s why Pestmaster takes a careful approach to bee removal that adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations. We are dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers yet are also passionate about protecting these pollinators and the environment. That’s why we use methods that are safe for kids, pets, and families yet won’t disrupt the important work of bees. We’ll make sure your property is safe from these insects without doing any damage to the local bee population.
